Tokyo – Haneda International Airport

Tokyo – Haneda International Airport is considered to be one of the most luxurious and cleanest airports in the world. It sounds encouraging, doesn’t it? In addition, people say you can find literally everything made in Japan in the local retail stores. The Tokyo Pop commercial area has been divided into two zones. In the Cool Zone, you will find a science-fiction toys alley. In the Hot Zone, the is a 50-meter-long race track and retail stores specialized in selling figurines (including anime figurines, obviously). Moreover, there are stores selling items connected with pop culture and candy stores in the commercial area. In the alley designed to evoke a street from the Edo times, you will find yourself in old-time Japan with restaurants offering traditional dishes and shops full of souvenirs from the Land of the Rising Sun. This is just a commercial area but you will admit it is wonderfully designed. Besides that, passengers craving either adventure or rest can visit a garden, planetarium, observation deck, relaxation rooms or use a massage armchair.

Incheon International Airport in South Korea

Modern design and paying attention to finest details – this is how Incheon Airport in South Korea can be described in a few words. However, more words need to be used to describe the amenities and attractions it provides the passengers with. To begin with, there are private resting rooms, free showers, stylish hotels and a massive volume of retail stores and restaurants. If you are looking for relaxation and refreshment, there are spa salons offering saunas, Thai massages, manicure, pedicure or masks. You can also attend a concert and live performances. Moviegoers can enjoy the latest movies – there are two cinemas to choose between. Furthermore, the Museum of Korean Culture displays the works of Buddhist art. For passengers that cherish an active way of spending time, the airport provides a golf pitch and ice rink. There is a casino as well. When you get tired of all of these attractions, you are welcome to find some peace in local gardens. There are…seven gardens at this airport!

Singapore Changi Airport

Hard, uncomfortable benches, noise, vast spaces crowded with people – does that sound like an airport? Surely, there are places that fit into this description. Certainly, Singapore Changi Airport is not one of them. There are so many attractions at the airport that an entire city could use them. First and foremost, tired passengers can relax in five (!) gardens, where 500 000 different plants have been placed. One can admire energetic, fabulously colored koi fish swimming in a beautifully located pond. Additional oxygen and a relief for one’s eyes are provided by green climbing plants. Those who prefer the art of human hands can see the world’s biggest moving sculpture named Kinetic Rain. What else is there to be seen at one of the most luxurious airports in the world? Let’s mention just the most spectacular things: a massive wall, where pictures of passengers are displayed; a 12-meter-high slide, which enables you to get to your check-in point even faster; a swimming pool at the terminal’s rooftop, butterfly garden, a cinema, several SPA salons and 350 retail stores.
